In 2007, Wine Spectator recognized and awarded Casa Mia and Café Chic for their unique and extensive wine collections. Casa Mia was honoured with the "Award of Excellence." To qualify, the wine collection needed to showcase more than 450 references. Café Chic, Le Méridien Dubai's signature restaurant, was awarded "Best of Award of Excellence" for a collection of over 850 fine wines and vertical vintages. It is the only restaurant in the Middle East and Africa to win this award.
